2017 Napa Valley Panorama

NEW RELEASE

A Bordeaux-style blend based on Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Petit Verdot, Merlot, and Malbec, the Panorama shows why Napa Valley is the perfect place to grow these noble grape varieties.

TASTING NOTE:  A proprietary blend of several noble grape varietals from the Napa Valley. this Bordeaux-style red wine opens with intense black, briary fruit framed by leather and cocoa nib.  The tannins are rich and full, lending to superb aging potential.  Flavors of plum, blackberries, and tobacco dominate the palate, and the finish is rich and lengthy.

FOOD PAIRING:  This full-bodied wine is a great match for rich dishes such as Mediterranean-style wine braised lamb shanks, baked rigatoni with Bolognese sauce, or pan-fried steaks with Morel Bordelaise sauce.

This is a forest berry fruit-driven, richly flavored, yet structurally elegant and grape-focused red Bordeaux-style blend.  The first nose impression is of cassis, plum, blackberry, and blueberry with warm spiced orange overlay.  Cinnamon, mint, black tea, and light perfume are available.... gravelly minerals seem to add texture to the palate.
