2016 Louvau Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon

NEW RELEASE

Picked at the peak of ripeness, this hand harvest cabernet sauvignon from a single vineyard in the Dry Creek Valley shows complexity and intensity while maintaining overall balance.

TASTING NOTE:  Dark berry and earthy notes of sage and eucalyptus on the nose, this intense and complex Cabernet Sauvignon shows remarkable balance.  Dusky oak complements the red-currant and cassis flavors that linger long with richly integrated tannins on the finish.  Drink now through 2026.

FOOD PAIRING:  The 2016 Louvau Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon is an excellent match for steak with frites or a rich, complex lamb shank tagine.
