2015 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

 For Napa Valley, the 2015 vintage was a dream vintage with quality along the lines of 2012 and 2013 vintages.  Cabernet Sauvignon experienced ideal weather conditions and showed excellent quality in the vineyards with superior concentration.

TASTING NOTES:
  Cinnamon with a hint of toasted oak aromas lead into wild blueberry flavors that shine through layers of black tea and leathery notes.  The structured, mouthfilling tannins are silky and plush.  This is sure to improve with age; best now through 2025.

FOOD PAIRING:  Try this Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon with traditional pairings such as steak and braised short ribs.  This cabernet sauvignon will pair well with your favorite comfort foods such as meatloaf, polenta with Bolognese, or beef pot pies.

 On the palate, the generous flavors of black raspberry, dark cherry, cassis, ripe currants, cinnamon, hickory spice and dark chocolate truffle are complemented with a harmonious mixture of smooth, silky texture, chewy tannins, firm structure, and a lingering finish. Overall, an extremely well-crafted wine that is not only approachable when young, but also worthy of cellaring for more 10-15 years.
