2017 Bennett Valley Sauvignon Blanc

From the Bennett Valley Appellation of Sonoma County, this sauvignon blanc was fermented and aged in a mix of stainless steel and new French oak barrels.  This Bordeaux style white wine was made in a traditional method where the fermentation of the wine is directed as a slow and cool fermentation. This ensures that we capture the essence of the purity.

TASTING NOTE:  Complex layers of ripe Crane melon, lemongrass, and pineapple lead into tropical flavors on a crisp and clean palate with bright acidity on the finish.  Crafted in a traditional Bordeaux style, this wine comes together harmoniously.

FOOD PAIRING:  This wine is a great match for a variety of food pairings from delicate white fish like petrale sole to spicy Indian curries.  This refreshing sauvignon blanc is also delicious on its own.
