2016 Old Vine Amador County Zinfandel

NEW RELEASE

Limited production zinfandel from old vines in the Sierra Foothills of Amador County.

TASTING NOTE:  Dark berry flavors coupled with oak aromas and intense old-vine ripe fruitiness combine to give this full-bodied wine extra dimension.  Cedar, vanilla, and new leather tones balance with berry and cherry flavors.

FOOD PAIRING:  This balanced zinfandel will pair well with a variety of dishes such as classic baby back ribs, rich Bolognese pasta, or lamb sliders with cilantro pesto. This wine is also excellent on its own.
